Mosaic Madness weekend workshop

It's fun

This is an awesome foundation course in the art of mosaic making. Many topics are covered and you will experience so much over the weekend that you wont even feel time zooming by.
So what happens in this turbo charged fun weekend workshop?

You will create a 30cm x 30cm mosaic, using the indirect method – that means you learn more than just sticking tiles directly onto your board. This is exactly the same method used to create mosaic table tops and flat wall mural works.

It's creative

You will learn to cut a variety of shapes that will be used in mosaic creation (using 2cm x 2cm glass tiles) with both regular nippers as well as leponittes – these are must have tools for your creativity so its good to learn how to use them well.

Many topics are covered like health and safety, Classical tesserae (tile) design terms, what substrate to mosaic on and which adhesives to use when.
There is a slide show presentation too of… you guessed it…. mosaics!

It's inspiring

And in case you haven’t already sensed it – all my workshops are created to inspire you. I love the idea of you experiencing your creative potential. How do I do that you ask? By taking you on a journey called Quest For Creativity.
This is where we explore what creativity means to you, we look at past artists and their creative process and come away with a new perspective on your creative potential.

So what's stopping you?

This workshop costs $255 inclusive of all the materials you will use (and not use since your cutting technique will need practice!) and use of tools and of course heaps of handouts.
Please download this file if you are attending the course.
